I've never been one for power tools... but this is totally speaking my love language.
What could be worthy of breaking in this glorious appliance? Something from scratch. Something unique. On a whim, I dreamed up Nutella cookies. Basically, I used a peanut butter cookie recipe and subbed out the pb for Nutella. I couldn't believe how quickly the mixture became silky smooth. There's no way my hand mixer would have been able to deliver such beautiful results. The batter was so tasty.
When all was said and done... I really lost the Nutella flavoring and it ended up tasting more like a sugar cookie. But, it was a noble try for the mixer's maiden voyage.
